Incense Burners

Although it is possible to simply poke a stick of incense into the ground or a crack in a wall and light it, such expedients are not recommended unless one can be completely certain that everything the burning incense may come into contact with is flameproof. Using an appropriate holder or burner for the type of incense being used will help ensure that the burning parts do not come into contact with flammable items that are not supposed to be burned. A suitable incense holder or burner is even more critical with cone and loose incenses. Some incense burners may also be suitable for use as diffusers for essential oils.

Wooden Coffin Incense Burner -- Sun and Moon Inlays

Beautifully decorated with designs of the sun and moon surrounded by stars, this incense burner includes both holes for stick incense and brass cups for cone incense. Inside is a hidden compartment in which you can store incense, making it excellent for traveling to rituals and gatherings.

Incense Tranquility Burner

A simple round dish-shaped burner, it is suitable for both stick and cone incense. Stick incense stands upright in the burner, so ash falls directly around it rather than scattering on the surface as happens with burners that hold the stick at an angle.
